The simplicity of a woman’s circle is this —> an activated field where our ancient traditions are simply remembered.

The natural medicine that a co-created circle activates is like no other.

Women’s circles offer the spaciousness that allow what wants and needs to show up, to show up. No agenda, no goal.

The wisdom is an organic unfolding that happens effortlessly as we share, feel, breathe together, like a timeless tapestry where each one of us helps weave the whole picture.

We need each other more than we give credit. We are wired for connection, and we have been let down by a culture of competition and bringing each other down. An internalized patriarchal wound for survival that is healed and replenished when we return to the circle.

This isn’t about uniformity, this isn’t about sharing what you are not ready for, this is as simple as sitting together in silence and allowing the field, the unseen, to work through us.

We celebrate the diversity of womanhood and the infinite array of expression as we hold the one red thread of truth that unites us.

A co-created field. No agenda, no goal, but simply sitting in a circle of alchemy for truth to bare its teeth.

In all my years of working in this field the most important piece is this - sisterhood.

The divide and conquer between women exists.

This is why I am passionate about this space - to finally remember the force we are when we reconnect again❤️‍🔥

This is why it’s more important than ever to find your ground, to slow down, to cultivate yin and stillness so that every action is aligned and in integrity to your truth.

This tree is my favourite in Lisbon and I always go visit her. This time looking up the meaning of such tree to see why I felt connected.

Of course this tree talks about resilience as the roots are so deep, meaning, it symbolizes the depth of relationship between the sky the earth and the underworld. Ha. Of course it does 🫠

Sending you all a deep sigh and breath and may you become the eye of the storm instead of swept away with busy-ness culture and disembodied action. May you connect deep into your essence, listen courageously and move forward with wisdom and truth.

What the f*ck has yin yoga got to do with the dark feminine you ask? Everything if you’re asking me ha.

A deep dive into the body’s landscape and learning to truly listen, in darkness, to your wisdom and move with presence towards discomfort to set yourself free?

Yep. That sounds about right❤️‍🔥

I am so happy to have not only felt the call to train in yin yoga but to also have found an incredible teacher to do it with!

And she’s also half Brazilian, how cool!

@marinadelimayoga thank you so so much for your teachings and for holding unapologetic spirituality, the kind I like to be in connection with.

The training was in elemental functional yin which means we follow the wisdom of TCM and adapt your unique body’s structure to the pose. Nobody looks the same to feel the same. And nobody is forced to do with their body what isn’t naturally meant to. I love that!

So looking forward to diving even deeper with you all THIS SATURDAY as I weave yin yoga with embodied movement, women’s circle and a taster of Magdalene temple arts.

This launch in Lisbon has truly been testing me.

It is no joke that stepping back up after descent is one of those initiatory experiences nobody really talks about.

Women’s circle’s have been diluted in our contemporary rhetoric, it was one of most persecuted traditions of ancient times because it’s a true tradition of the sacred feminine.

This is why I’m offering this inside The Mover’s Paradise.

Unscripted, non-formatted. An organic and alive co-creation, as it speaks to the moment, and only the moment. Where we step into the unknown and allow there and then truth to arise.

No rehearsals other than the alchemical circle that contains transformation - by witnessing, being witnessed and by being moved by it all!

Women come not because of how well structured and predictable this is, but because they feel the frequency. A place where there is no imposing, we just get out of the way and allow the primordial pulse to guide.

The spiritual industrial complex can suffocate the artist.

We are not here to feel good all the time.

We are here to feel deeply, and translate what we find into something the world can touch.

That takes courage.

Because truth isn’t always soft, light, or easy to digest.

This quiet pressure in some spaces to be “healed”, regulated, composed…always somehow rising, is exhausting for the artist who craves realness.

Art doesn’t come from perfection.

It comes from friction. From tension.

Artists help the world see beauty in the most unlikely of places.

Places many don’t fully understand yet.

Don’t let anyone strip you of your humanity.

You’re not behind for not living in constant bliss.

You’re not broken for feeling intensely.

Don’t abandon yourself, go even deeper and taste the diamonds that are forged under pressure.

Because when you find your voice, it will move people… and yes, it may disturb them too.

That’s not failure.
That’s impact.
That’s what artists are for.
To shutter every illusion and wake us from slumber.
