Artist’s Statement
From as early as she can remember, Gabriella spoke first through movement. Playing and dancing among adults in unlikely places. Dance became her first language, the root of her embodiment, and the doorway into understanding humanity itself.
Drawn to cultural memory held in the body, she studied flamenco, samba, Bollywood, classical Indian forms, and folkloric traditions with the curiosity of an artistic anthropologist.
Her free-styling developed its own signature: alive, intuitive, relational. She is known for the way she interacts with the room, how she could shift atmosphere through presence alone.
Even when she was mocked for dancing at a younger age in mundane spaces, she was then applauded for the very same movements once she stepped on stage. This made her recognise something essential about art: people feel safer witnessing freedom than embodying it. This paradox only deepened her devotion to art as sacred activism for our shared humanity.
Her artistic path has woven through immersive theatre, cabaret, songwriting, singing, performance art, voice work, modelling, and writing. Across every medium, the thread remains the same: Gabriella creates from instinct, imagination, and an unbroken commitment to exploring what moves through the human body and human psyche individually and collectively.
Art was not a choice but a calling and remains the centre stage of her life, a sanctuary where truth, discomfort, beauty, and humanity coexist without censorship.
In a world that often treats discomfort as a threat, Gabriella sees it as art – a vital force that refreshes our capacity to feel, reflect, and explore the universal themes that unites us rather than a culture that too quickly dismisses them into taboo.
Before and after everything else, she is, and has always been – an artist.
IMMERSIVE & EXPERIMENTAL THEATRE
A practice where ritual, theatre and somatic listening meet. Journeys to remember what the body already knows.
Awakening Magdalena
Awakening Magdalena began as an intuitive body-work. An art piece that arrived after Magdalene appeared as a guide. Performed at private ceremonies, festivals and filmed as an art movie, the piece became the seed for my later priestess work and soul-retrieval ceremonies for women.

“I marvel at not just Gabriella’s depth of understanding woman, but her ability to capture it all in a 10-minute dance, making me feel every moment, every emotion, every chapter of my life. Thank you for seeing me — and for your courage to be seen.” ~ Melanie
“A wonderful performance in which all the stages of my life were reflected again — from the early years of becoming a woman to who I am now nearing forty. It was an incredible journey through my female roles and all their emotions. I was truly taken.” ~ Tanja
“Gabriella’s performance at The Summer House Festival was a rare, powerful expression of a sexually embodied woman. Unapologetic. Mesmerising. Honest. It stood out from every other performance that weekend — a revelation of feminine power.” ~ David
The Temple Of Dark Light

MOVEMENT & DRAMA
A celebration of sensuality and embodied storytelling. Gabriella’s movement language draws from various cultural traditions into a body-led expression that is both sacred and symbolic, shaping an improvisational vocabulary that is emotionally articulated, reflecting a body that listens before it speaks.
Her performance practice is not only about fixed choreography but about presence and delivery. An art in responding, adapting and embodying fully the moment. It’s an approach that mirrors how she moves through life itself: with sensitivity, depth, and the courage to follow what’s true rather than what’s “rehearsed”.

VOICE, MUSIC, POETRY
Her writing is often described as spell-like, sensorial, and truth-piercing, weaving poetry, myth, humour, and incantation.
She works at the intersection of sound art, song, vocal improvisation, poetry, and ritual performance, crafting work that evoke emotional, psychological, and archetypal layers.
As a voice artist she has worked across commercial voiceover, writing lyrics for others, experimental vocal layering, spoken word and musical collaborations.
Improvisational Vocal Artist & Singer/Songwriter
Gabriella’s approach to voice is instinctive, unfixed, and intentionally raw.
Gabriella is a resident vocalist for the Art Collective Shibatonics in Brasil – showing up on stage with no knowledge of which member will show up. Together, by deep listening, they weave songs that will never be sung again.
“At Fabric Bhering Art Festival 2016”
“Live at a festival in Rio Brasil, 2017”
Where most singers prefer to stick to a repertoire, Gabriella’s biggest passion is showing up raw on stage and allow the atmosphere to inform her of what wants to move through in an improvisational non linear form.

Poetry
A love of playing with words, breath and rhythm. Gabriella writes as a consciousness stream, allowing words to outpour and take shape in the moment. An extension of her improvisational gift.
Below are a couple of Spoken Word poems written by Gabriella.
